Kevin Harding

Kevin Harding is an acoustic guitarist and composer specialising in open tuning instrumentals. A contributor to the UK’s national “Acoustic Magazine”, they published many of Kevin’s compositions as regular transcriptions throughout 2006-7 with much acclaim. 	Kevin performs at various guitar and folk clubs either as a soloist or with Nigel Pike or Ian Roberts (when in Scotland) on double bass. Kevin has performed at events and venues such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (headlining a two night show at the Acoustic Music Centre), Birmingham Arts Festival, Yardbirds Jazz Club, Leith Folk Club, The Blue Walnut Torquay and Sutton Acoustic Guitar Club.
Through his work with the hugely successful Fingers & Frets guitar club created in the late 1990's in Torquay, Kevin has carved out a successful career in music education and is currently Principal Director at The Academy of Music & Sound based in several major venues around the country. Through his work with the Academy Kevin works and performs with some of the UK’s leading session guitarists including Academy fellow director Shaun Baxter, a world renowned jazz guitar virtuoso.
